We offer cultural immersion experiences, workshops, and trainings to expose individuals to various aspects of African traditions. Baba Awosoji offers a range of spiritual services through the Ifa/Orisa path.

These services are for those who are ready to take responsibility for their lives and shift their way of living, as well as for those who have been seeking help in places where they have not been able to receive it.

Through Ifa divination, counsel, and traditional rites, Baba provides clarity, alignment, and practical guidance for moving forward.

Initiation & Life After Initiation

Initiation is not just a ceremony — it is the beginning of a new way of living. Many have come to Baba to initiate to save their lives, to find clarity when nothing else worked, and to realign their destiny.

What sets Baba apart is what happens after.

After initiation, Baba meets people where they are. He walks with them through a weekly 2-3 hour class, creating a living community for his group — for those who are ready to learn, grow, and be held accountable to the path they chose.

This is not a one-time ritual. It is ongoing training, community, and counsel to help you actualize what you received.

Birth

Apetebi Ifashikemi is a traditional midwife, birth-worker, and educator dedicated to bridging ancestral wisdom into our lives today.

She offers a range of services for mothers, families, and those in need, rooted in the traditional ways that allowed our people to live healthy and well together.

Her passion is returning to those ways — to the care, community, and reverence that sustained us — and releasing the oppressive systems that have made us short-sighted in how we care for our pregnant women and families.

Her work is a remembrance: birth as ceremony, mother as sacred, family as foundation.

Arelagbayi Institute of Yoruba Healing Arts

Arelagbayi Institute is an immersive, live-in experience in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria — the heartland of Yoruba culture.

Participants can stay for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, living within the community and learning directly from elders and cultural custodians.

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deepen Your Spiritual Path: Receive direct teachings on spirituality, Ifa/Orisa counsel, and initiations for those who are called.

  • Restore and Reconnect: Step away from the fast pace of city life, immerse yourself in nature, and reconnect with your inner self.

  • Learn Through Art: Study traditional art forms, including wood carving and Adire textile making, from master artisans.

  • Learn Traditional Birth Ways: Train in traditional fertility, birth, and postpartum methods directly from the Agbẹ̀bi and local women — wisdom that has been held for generations
